Dear Church Family,

I am are excited about an opportunity that God has presented us with. My desire, and I believe it is yours as well, is to see our church family growing in our relationship with the Lord, with each other, and with unbelievers whom God has placed in our life.

The deacons and I are going to ask you to participate in a Spiritual Formation Assessment. This assessment will help us identify areas in which we are doing well, moving us to celebration. It will also identify areas in which we need to grow and mature, causing us to seek change. It will help us discern how to best mobilize our church family to grow deeper in our relationships with Christ, with the church body, and with the lost people in our community.

The survey contains 52 questions and can be completed in 10 minutes or less. It will be available in both paper and electronic form. We will, however, be dedicating time in the morning service next Sunday (March 27) to take the survey so as many of our family as possible can participate. This address (  will have the electronic copy of the survey available beginning that day. We will aim to have all surveys collected by Sunday, April 10.

After the survey results have been recorded and analyzed, we will receive a detailed report that will be shared with the entire church family. I believe this effort will be very beneficial as we look to the future and what God has in store for us.

Thank you for walking together in this process of spiritual growth. I firmly believe this will be a useful tool in helping us better carrying out the mission of our church, as we help people to Know, Love and Follow Jesus!

In Christ,

Pastor Greg Linscott
